The series of the European Music Analysis Conferences began in 1989, thirty years ago, with the Congrès Européen d’Analyse Musicale organized by the SFAM in Colmar. Since then, ten conferences have been organized, in average about one every three years: Colmar, 1989; Trento, 1991; Montpellier, 1995; Rotterdam, 1999; Bristol, 2002; Freiburg, 2007; Rome, 2011; Leuven, 2014; Strasbourg, 2017; Moscow , 2021.
