This forum is a great place to exchange ideas related to European music theory. I suggest opening several threads. The idea of harmony seems to never leave the focus of the attention of theorists. I would like to invite the colleagues to start such a thread here.
Do you suggest a thread on harmony, or on theories of harmony? I think that we should better open seperate threads on Riemann’s functional theory on the one hand and on the Viennese Fundamentschritttheorie on the other. One question is whether we can bring anything new about these.
